Minicut – Internal Machining from Ø7.0 mm

Dümmel’s Minicut system is engineered for internal grooving, profiling, and threading in bores starting at just 7.0 mm in diameter. The system offers a variety of toolholders, including types 607 through 618, available in both steel and solid carbide constructions. These holders are designed for easy handling, featuring frontally screwed carbide inserts that simplify insert changes and enhance stability. The Minicut line includes specialized holders for face grooving applications, such as types 614.A and 618.A, as well as square shank options like 614SQ and 618SQ for added versatility.​

Inserts within the Minicut range cater to a wide array of applications, including internal grooving, full-radius grooving, profiling, and chamfering.

They are designed for minimum bore diameters starting at 7.0 mm, with certain applications requiring slightly larger bores. The inserts are available in various geometries and coatings, including options with CBN for hard material machining, ensuring optimal performance across different materials and cutting conditions.​

Ultramini – Precision Turning from Ø0.2 mm

The Ultramini line is Dümmel’s solution for ultra-precision turning, grooving, and threading in bores as small as 0.2 mm. This system boasts over 1,000 standard inserts, all compatible with a streamlined range of toolholders, enhancing flexibility and reducing inventory requirements. Toolholders are available starting from Ø10 mm, with options like the UM series, and extend to specialized holders such as the UMST for Swiss-type machines and the UM.C with polygon shank according to ISO 26623.​

The Ultramini inserts are designed for a variety of applications, including threading, grooving, and profiling, with minimum bore diameters ranging from 0.2 mm to 7.8 mm.

They are available in multiple geometries and coatings to suit different materials and cutting conditions. The system's design ensures high precision and repeatability, making it ideal for industries requiring meticulous machining, such as medical device manufacturing and micro-mechanics.

Swissline – Optimized for Swiss-Type Lathes up to Ø32 mm

Dümmel’s Swissline system is tailored for Swiss-type lathes handling workpieces up to Ø32 mm. The product range includes a comprehensive selection of toolholders and inserts for parting off, turning, copy turning, and threading. Toolholders are available in shank sizes ranging from 8 mm to 25 mm, with options for internal cooling to enhance chip evacuation and tool life. Specialized holders, such as the UMHV, are designed for rear-end machining, providing additional flexibility in complex operations.​
